No. The Engine is tool-agnostic and gets built inside whatever your team already uses: JIRA, Linear, Asana, or a mix. If a tool is genuinely part of the problem, we'll tell you, but the decision is yours. We never recommend change for change's sake, and we never make a tool migration a condition of the engagement.

No. We don't believe in excessive meetings or BS KPIs and OKRs. As part of the Diagnostic, we review the meetings, KPIs, and OKRs your team is already running and flag the ones that aren't earning their keep: recurring status meetings that could be a Slack message, scorecards built around what's easy to count rather than what moves the business. The Engine itself is 8 sessions and an async Slack channel. We don't add to the pile.

Yes. The Diagnostic fee is credited in full if you move into the Engine engagement. In practice that makes the Diagnostic a low-risk way to see how we work: if the findings land and you proceed, the fee comes off the Engine price. If you don't proceed, you keep a written, ranked list of the constraints blocking your revenue milestones.

Our sweet spot: Seed, Series A, and Series B vertical SaaS startups with 25-100 employees, 5-25 engineers, multiple product workstreams, and established product-market fit. Usually the CTO, VP of Engineering, or a founder is holding delivery together personally. If you're pre-product-market fit or under about 15 people, you probably don't need a delivery operating system yet, and we'll tell you that on the free call.

Yes, we're remote-first by design. The scoping call, the Diagnostic, and all 8 Engine sessions happen over video, with a shared Slack channel for async work in between. If anything, remote and hybrid teams get the most value from a single delivery structure, because nothing coordinates itself in a hallway.

No, and that's the point. In Phase 3 we hand the running engine to a named internal owner on your team, with a playbook, templates, and a recorded walkthrough. Your team ships fast and safely without us. If you want us on speed dial afterward, optional ongoing advisory is available, but it's never a condition of the engagement.
